The Obvious
I guess it gets pretty obvious by now that since the music on Codgers on the Moon is instrumental it rarely if ever has anything to do with what is written here.
I suppose the reason I write is that I fully qualify as a Senior Citizen. Seniors like to talk. We have a larger past than we have a future, so memories start spilling out. Even memories are not forever.
My original plan was to mix this album as a binaural recording. I tried it, but I am losing my hearing. I gave up and had to return to a traditional style mix since that is more familiar to me. Mixing in 3-D space is great if you have all the frequencies at your disposal. I don't. Not any more. Some frequencies are missing, some just rattle in my head.
In time, the ears probably go completely, along with the eyes, the teeth, the orgasms, the memories.
Breath.
It is a time to talk if I have anything to say. Speak now or forever hold my peace.
